Janet Pierce Wilson, 59, of Durham, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, 908 Albemarle Rd., Asheboro, NC, 27203, with her pastor, Rev. Bryan f*ggart, Rev. Jim Perryman, and Dr. Peggy Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., prior to the service. Born July 30, 1958, the daughter of the late Wesley and Golda McKinnon Pierce. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Wilson; her sisters, Johnsie Pierce Brantley and Gail Pierce Connor. Survivors include her sister, Sharon Pierce of Asheboro; nieces, Erin Connor and Jami Jon Brantley; nephew, Rob Brantley; great nephew, Zeke Brantley; and many friends who helped her through this time.
