TRINITY-Reverend Thomas “Tommy” Hunt, 77, went home to be passed on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. A service to celebrate Tommy’s life will be held on Friday, March 30, at 3 pm, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Reverend James Sweeney and Reverend Warren Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Friday from 1:45 until 2:45 pm at the funeral home.. Born on June 2, 1940 in Guilford County, to the late Thomas Ray and Beulah Briles Hunt. Those left to cherish his memory; are his wife of 57 plus years, Genevieve Mashburn Hunt; his daughter, Loretta Honeycutt and her husband Kent; his grandchildren, Jacob Sheffield and his wife Heather, Dawn Cockrum and her husband Brent; his great grandchildren, Lucy Sheffield, Lauren Cockrum and Lily Cockrum.
