HARTFORD CITY – Judith “Judy” Charlene Elliott, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Calvary Christian Lighthouse Church, 2101 N. Walnut St., Hartford City. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the church.
She was born in Marion on February 26, 1935 to Lawrence Briles and Leona Mae (Fisher) Briles. Her parents preceded her in death. Judy married Robert D. Elliott on January 27, 1957 at Apostolic Faith Church in Jonesboro. He passed away on April 13, 2018. She is also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Deelisa Owens and siblings, Robert Briles, Clayton Briles, Walter Harold Briles, Alfred Briles, Ronald Briles and Martel Briles.
Surviving are her children, Cindy K. (husband, Robert “Tim”) Hatton of Hartford City, Kevin D. Elliott of Eaton and Jim (wife, Tammy) Owens of Marion; sister-in-law, Debbie Elliott; grandchildren, Robby (wife, Minna) Zirkelbach, Jody (husband, Al) Ford, Beth Higginbotham, Kimberly (husband, Kyle) Pitts, Erin Rae (husband, Nate) Bechtold, Mollie M. Elliott, Jamie (husband, Aaron) Robinson, Stephanie (husband, Steven) Lahr and Kimberly (husband, Clint) Freet; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. S
