Daniel H. Wiley, 89, of Springfield, Mo., passed away April 8, 2009. He was born in Elwood, Mo., on September 1, 1919. Daniel graduated from Willard High School, Willard, Mo., served in the U.S. Army, and worked as a farmer. He was a member of Elwood United Methodist Church. He was a 50 year member Shriner, Mason and York Rites. He enjoyed golfing. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his wife, Dolores J. (Briles) Wiley; daughter Lisa and Frank Moore; step-children, Richard Wiebe, Carol Cook and Brenda Dickinson; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister Josephine and Jennings Lambeth. Funeral services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North at 1 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2009, in the funeral home.
4/21/2020 Dolores was born 8-16-1932 and married Wiley in 1973. Mrs. Wiley is the daughter of the late Sylvian L. “Doc” Briles and Nettie M. Wood Briles.
