Beulah Shelton Rush, age 88, passed Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living, Candor. Wake: Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC and other times at her home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Hwy 134N, Troy, NC; Pastor Jeff Ray and Rev. William Saunders officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born July 26, 1923 the daughter of James William and Valie Marie Inman Shelton. Native of Surry County; preceded in death by her husband; Lester Warren Rush in May 2011. Survived by two daughters: Vada R. Whitaker of Troy, Glenda R. Spaugh of Pfafftown, four sons: Harold D. Rush of West End, Darrell W. Rush of Troy, Farrell Rush of West End and James Allen Rush of Bear Creek, 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 5 stepgrandchildren.
