Dorothy Carter Hedrick, age 91, passed August 19, 2011, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, NC. Funeral services will be at Holly Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Born October 23, 1919 to the late William & Alice Kindley Carter; preceded in death her husband, Jacob Thad Hedrick; sister Edith May and brother Luke Carter. Surviving is her son, Philip Hedrick. Lineage back to Conrad & Margaret Rush Briles
