John "J.C." "Jake" Clay Gallimore, 74, passed Wednesday, August 16, 2011 in the Lexington Health Care Center. No visition. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11 A.M. in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel with Rev. Alan Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Born July 27, 1937 in Davidson County, a son of G. Clay Gallimore and Bessie Kindley Gallimore. Preceded in death by a sister, Velna Hedrick and brothers, Raymond Odell Gallimore and Edward Ray Gallimore. Surviving are a brother, Albert Lee Gallimore and wife Peggy of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews.
