Ruby Pearl Crotts Rowe, 92, passed Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Health — Lexington Medical Center. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Charles Yarborough Jr. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Born on Dec. 27, 1918, to the late Lee Crotts and Ida Burkhart Crotts. Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Rowe. Surviving are sons, Larry Dan Rowe and wife Dorothy and Jerry Rowe and wife Joann, all of Lexington; brother William Bryce Crotts of Lexington; sister Betty Palmer of Angier; half sister Peggy Beck of Lexington; grandchildren Danny Lee Rowe of Champaign, Ill., Tina Felter of Goshen, Ind., Greg Alan Rowe of Lexington, S.C., and Scott Brian Rowe of Spotsylvania, Va.; 12 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
