The Briles Information Network has received late word of the passing of Steven Mitchell Briles who passed December 13, 2011 in Aumsville, Oregon. According to news reports, Briles either drowned or died of hypothermia in Mill Creek of Aumsville. Weddle Funeral Service in Stayton, Oregon handled the body, however no full obituary was posted there or in the local newspaper. Briles is the son of Guy Leroy & Lena Lori McTigert Briles.
