Phillip Lauren McDowell, age 72, passed January 14, 2021.
Mr. McDowell will lie in repose on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 11:00 am-5:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 4:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Mason officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Randolph Memorial Park prior to the funeral service.
He was born on February 9, 1948 to Dallas and Clarice Farlow McDowell. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Clinton McDowell, and his sister Inez Welborn McDowell.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol Morton McDowell; sons, Chris McDowell and wife Leah of Asheboro and Shannon McDowell of Alexandria, VA; brothers, Trellis McDowell and wife Deane of Trinity and Milton McDowell and wife Debbie of Denton; and many nieces and nephews.
