Clara Wood Loflin, 96, formerly of Pleasant Union Rd., Trinity, NC, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Clapp’s Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.
Mrs. Loflin will lie in state on Tuesday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 10, at Pierce’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Wood officiating.
Clara was born October 26, 1924, in Randolph County to Nummie Rufus Wood and Ida Amy Briles Wood. In addition to her parents Clara was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Loflin; sisters, Faye Byrum and Verlie Loflin; brothers, Clarence Wood; daughter-in-law, Vivian Hunt Loflin.
She is survived by her son, Randall Loflin of Trinity.
