Lindsay Odell Lambeth, 91, of Asheboro, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2024, at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church, Asheboro, with Rev. Darrell Rabon, Rev. Bryan Rush, Rev. Jeff Garner, Pastor Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born on February 8, 1933, in Davidson County, NC, Odell was the son of the late Lindsay and Virdie Hughes Lambeth.
In addition to his parents, Odell was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Beasley Lambeth; daughter, Patricia Lambeth; sons, Bobby Lambeth, Ronnie Lambeth; sisters, Verlie Presnell, Vera Cunningham, Virgie Hughes, Ruby Lambeth, Alene Lambeth; brothers, Olan Lambeth and Oliver Lambeth.
Surviving are daughters, Dewanda Cron (George) of Asheboro, Ronda Rush (Bryan) of Asheboro; son, Joe Don Lambeth (Alesia) of Lexington; sister, Vida Allred (Charles) of Asheboro; brother, Oscar Lambeth (Shelby) of Lexington; brother-in-law, Jim Cunningham of Asheboro; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
