Mr. Charlie F. Floyd, 91 of Thomasville, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Piedmont Crossing Retirement Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Born February 14, 1927 to the late Thomas C. Floyd and Lula Kate Williams Floyd in Randolph County. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Wood Floyd; brothers, Cicero (Hamm) Floyd, Paul Floyd, and Howard (Tink) Floyd; sisters, Ruth Royals, Helen Robbins, Kathleen (Kat) Hill, and Mary Elizabeth Floyd. Surviving is his daughter, Mary Lou Eames and husband Ray; sisters, Jean Floyd and Dot Brower; grandchildren, Christie Brown and husband Allen and Richard Eames and wife Brandi; four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
